High-Density Video Encoder Rack Solution
The AXIS Q7414 Video Encoder Blade is designed to be a part of video encoder rack solutions, offering four channels for integrating a large number of analog cameras and audio channels into a high-density IP-based video surveillance system. When used with the AXIS Q7900 Rack, this blade can support up to 56 analog cameras in a single 4U, 19-inch rack.
Outstanding Compression Capabilities
The AXIS Q7414 provides exceptional compression capabilities with high-performance H.264 support, allowing true multi-streaming from each channel. It can deliver multiple individually configurable video streams at full frame rate in various resolutions up to D1 (720×480 in NTSC, 720×576 in PAL), with support for Motion JPEG for added flexibility.
Intelligent Video Capabilities
In addition to compression features, the AXIS Q7414 offers intelligent capabilities such as enhanced video motion detection, active tampering alerts, and audio detection. The encoder can be connected to external devices like sensors and relays to trigger responses to alarms, such as activating lights or opening/closing doors.
Wide Range of Supported Analog PTZ Cameras
The AXIS Q7414 can connect to various analog pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras, making it easy to operate them over an IP network. Its open policy ensures seamless integration with most analog PTZ cameras on the market, with software drivers available for over 25 different models from manufacturers like American Dynamics, Bosch, Canon, Panasonic, Pelco, Philips, Samsung, Sensormatic, and Sony.
