I must admit, I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase. The instructions for setting up the hardware and IP connections were overly complex and difficult to follow. There seems to be a mismatch between the installation instructions and how the system menus actually respond. The automatic connection of the cameras and NVR, as advertised in YouTube videos and the printed instructions, did not occur as expected.
I diligently downloaded the necessary apps from your website onto both my PC and tablet, as instructed. However, after following the provided instructions to get the equipment up and running, I have hit a roadblock and feel completely lost. This is not my first time setting up equipment, so I am quite familiar with the process, yet I still can’t seem to make it work.
I am in desperate need of a fresh starting point to get this equipment functioning as it should.

I have been using Uniview equipment for over 2 years now and have never encountered any issues. The only time I faced a problem was when I tried to connect old cameras to this new NVR, but that was not a fault of the NVR itself. This NVR has 8 ethernet PoE ports, which makes it incredibly user-friendly. Simply connect the cable from the NVR to the camera and you’re good to go. Even adding cameras from separate PoE switches is incredibly easy. The YouTube tutorials provided are extremely helpful and guide you through the process step by step.The apps are also great and simple to set up – just scan the QR code on your NVR setup screen and you’re done.
